优昙婆罗花 UDUMBARA

发现这种小花极有可能是传说中3000年开一次的优昙婆罗花 (UDUMBARA)!!

仔细看,每朵高1厘米左右，直径不到1毫米；花茎细如金丝；花朵洁白。

恨不得有macro len, 可以这簇小花清楚拍摄了下来。

小時有阅读過報導有關於佛經中記載的三千年一開的世間罕見的優曇婆羅花。

此奇花正是释迦牟尼佛曾讲过的“优昙婆罗花”。根据佛经记载，“优昙婆罗”是梵文的音译，意为灵瑞花、空起花、起空花。优昙婆罗花是传说中的仙界极品之花，此花花茎细如发丝，有韧性，花形如钟，白如雪，因其花“青白无俗艳”被尊为佛家花。

[弟子修炼家，遍开优昙花。佛花开五度，逾千朵奇葩。

优昙婆罗花，预言者释迦。三千年一现，现时传大法。

人间开佛花，已三五年华。世人快蹬船，法船圣王驾。]

1997年，南韩京畿道广州郡一家寺院的金铜如来座像前胸最早发现优昙婆罗花。近年来在中国大陆、台湾和香港，以及马来西亚、新加坡、澳洲、美国、加拿大、欧洲等等世界多处地方也发现此花绽放。优昙婆罗花的生长不需土壤、养分，不论在有生命或无生命的物体上，诸如玻璃、金属、塑胶、植物等等都能生长，起无影去无痕，此花岂是凡物？

「優曇婆羅花，瑞祥之氣繚繞，觀者必受其福。」

Legends hold that Udumbara flowers blossom only once every three thousand years. Udumbara blossoms were first recently seen in South Korea in 1997. The flowers were subsequently found in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Northern California, New York, Texas, Australia, Canada, Europe and other countries. 

According to the Buddhist sutras, the Sanskrit word "Udumbara" means "an auspicious flower from heaven."

草蛉(Green lacewings)

根据植物专家介绍，在各地发现的“优昙婆罗花”实为一种捕食性昆虫——草蛉，一般在植物上产卵。所谓的优昙婆罗花根本就不是花，只是一种叫草蛉的昆虫的卵，其幼虫通称蚜狮。

However, the udumbara can look similar to the eggs of an insect called the green lacewing (Chrysopa). Closer inspection reveals that the flowers have petal and stamen like structures which the eggs lack. 

是世間罕見的“优昙婆罗花” 或是草蛉的卵, 我希望自己见到了三千年一開的世間稀奇的的花。可以有福报了!! (微笑)

Whether it is Udumbara flowers or Green lavewings' egg, I wish I have withness the legendary flowers blossom only once every 3000 years! (smile)
