劇情簡介：

Ken是含著金湯匙出世的小孩，父親是商人，母親是家庭主婦，自幼受母親和祖母的溺愛。由於Ken “A水准”成績不允許他考入本地大學，他便計劃與女友Amy到國外留學。殊不知，他與女友要出國留學的計劃卻被他必須服新加坡國民服役而腰斬。

對Ken而言，服兵役是一件既過時又浪費青春的事情。Ken的母親和祖母出於愛子心切，便想盡辦法，甚至還聯系國會議員（MP）只希望能夠延後Ken入伍的時間。父親得知Ken對服兵役消極的態度後感到非常不開心，卻還不斷地把希望Ken能進入實習軍官學院（OCS - Officer Cadet School）掛在嘴邊，造成父子之間的關系再度惡化。

Synopsis

Ah Boys to Men a Singaporean comedy film produced and directed by Jack Neo, written by Neo and Link Sng and starring Wang Wei Liang, Tosh Rock, Noah Yap, Joshua Tan and Maxi Lim. It revolves around a group of army recruits in National Service in Singapore. 

The film consists of two parts, the first commercially released on November 12, 2012, and the second on February 7, 2013

『新兵正传II』 

电影简介:

历经挫折的Ken，对自己过去犯下的错深感后悔，更对自己连累到父亲受伤的事耿耿于怀，并因此觉察到亲情的重要。回到兵营后，他决定发奋图强，证明自己。但他积极的表现，立刻惹来同伴的不满和排斥，认为他走上wayang king 的道路，一心只想拍马屁和表现自己.......

与此同时，Ip Man 的女友同他闹分手，情绪激动的他找来了罗邦等人，展开了复仇计划，并成功整了那个女友和她的新男友。不料这新男友却为了报仇，立刻招兵买马，前来复仇。众人在新兵聚集的地方打闹起来，一向勇于积极表现的Wayang King却立刻逃之夭夭，而Ken却勇敢的留下来，捍卫自己的同伴。但当众打架，毕竟触犯军纪.......

众人和Ken，Wayang King之间的矛盾，是否能得到解决？在你不爽我，我不爽你的情况下，他们是否能团结一致，共赴最后难关？

AH BOYS TO MEN 2

Synopsis:

After his recovery & realization of his mistakes, Ken returns to Tekong Island to continue his Basic Military Training (BMT). Determined to change, Ken prepares to prove himself. However, this change in attitude from Ken, immediately draws the dislike and mockery from some his Section mates led by Lobang. They feel that he is following after Wayang King’s footsteps......

At the same time, Ip Man’s girlfriend broke up with him because of another guy. Ip Man ask for help from Lobang & his Section mates to hatch a plan for revenge. A fight broke out. Wayang King was the first to run away, while Ken hesitated, but eventually stayed behind to defend his Section mates.

After this incident, what else is in store for Ken? What punishment will be met out because of the fight? How will the antagonisms between Ken, Wayang King, Lobang and the rest of the Section mates be resolved? In such an environment of mutual distrust and sabotage, will they be able to shake hands and work together, to face their greatest challenge?
